|Event:||Heyman Center Lunch Talk with Howard J. Finkelstein: "Microfinance and Impact Investment - Changing the World through Capitalism"|
|Location:||Cardozo Law School, Room 1008|
Howard J. Finkelstein has been practicing law for nearly 30 years, more than 25 for large law firms. His practice is focused on finance, capital markets transaction and general corporate law.
Howard has represented some of the world’s largest companies, including multinational corporations and global banks, and has also represented start-up entrepreneurs. He has handled numerous complex and first-of-a-kind transactions. In all cases he is always focused on getting the deal done. He views his clients as his business partners rather than customers by providing legal and business advice to help them succeed. In 2002, Howard discovered the world of microfinance and since that time he has become an expert in that burgeoning financial sector. His work has been instrumental in bringing nearly $1 billion of fresh capital to microfinance companies in more than 50 countries to help improve the lives of people who live on $2 or less a day. He is an advocate for the sustainable investment sector and is constantly on the lookout for business opportunities that will create double- and triple-bottom line investments.
This event is open only to the Cardozo community. RSVP at email@example.com or by registering on this page.
